A fishing family's promise
Thenkadalmeenavan — "the fisherman of the southern sea" — began as the life's work of Anthony Shabu and his family in Kanyakumari. For generations, our days have started before dawn, pushing wooden boats into the waves and returning with the ocean's freshest gifts.
Tradition you can taste
We clean every fish by hand and sun-dry it the way our ancestors did — with sea salt and patience, never chemicals. Our pickles are slow-cooked in small batches using hand-ground masalas and cold-pressed oil, following recipes our grandmother perfected over a lifetime.
